Golden Pond Trail/ CREEPY TRAIL!

After work on Monday night, I took a hike with fellow co-workers Jennifer and Dustin. This steep trail was fun, but ultimately led us to a creepy place. Nevertheless, I officially love hiking after work! :)


The hike up a steep hill...and a crooked tree.


We came across the top of the Mammoth Hot Springs...


Boiling, acidic water bubbling out of the top of the spring...very cool!


A little further on down the trail...


Really?!?!!


This is as close as I could get, but notice the furry brown animal by the single, barren tree. Apparently, it's a varmit. I thought that was just a slang word...


Storm clouds are rolling in...




OMG a road! Let's get outta here!!...
